Piano Lessons

Piano lessons are offered online using the Alfred and Piano Adventures piano methods. More advanced students follow the Royal Conservatory and/or Conservatory Canada syllabi. In addition to playing piano at their weekly lessons, students are able to participate in fun and engaging off-bench activities and games. Every class is action packed!

Learning music in an online environment offers many advantages. Some of these include:

  • Because music lessons are at home, students are no longer exposed to viruses such as the common cold, flu, and COVID-19.
  • After a busy school day, students enjoy the convenience of having their music lesson in the comfort of their own home, and can even wear their pyjamas!
  • After a busy work day, parents enjoy the convenience of not having to drive to piano lessons, and can do dinner preparations or their own work while still listening on their child's music lesson.

The academic year includes 32 lessons and 2 recitals. Classes begin in September and run until mid-May. Students doing Conservatory piano exams may attend lessons until mid-June.

  • Tuition for 30-minute lessons in the 2020/21 academic year is $90 per month.
